Retailers from the United States and Mexico Attend Palliser Furniture University

Palliser Furniture launched its first Palliser University conference for retail partners in the United States and Mexico, held March 1st and 2nd at its manufacturing facilities in Mexico. The two full-day program for the attendees included training in all aspects of the business from Palliser senior management presenters, a tour of the manufacturing facilities as well as an introduction to the Sales Excellence™ Program led by Richard Tyler, CEO of Richard Tyler International, Inc.®
On the first day the theme presented was “The Life of a Palliser Sofa”, which introduced the attendees to how a sofa or sectional comes to life, from design concept to the time it is packed and shipped to their retail location. The first day included presentations on Palliser’s History, Brand, Design, Manufacturing, Styles, Leathers, Quality, Innovation, and much more. The attendees participated in an extensive tour of the Las Colinas and Saltillo manufacturing facilities to see first-hand how Palliser products are made.
In addition to the product and factory experience, the second-half of the conference introduced the attendees to the Palliser University Sales Excellence™ Program, led by Richard Tyler. Richard is a two time best selling author and is one of the

Upon passing there was a presentation of certificates certifying each qualified attendee as a new Palliser Brand Ambassador.

This was the second Palliser University conference conducted by the manufacturer. In September 2015, Palliser held its first University in Winnipeg, MB at the corporate facilities for their Canadian retailers following a similar educational format. The individual performance was then tracked for each of the attendees, comparing their sales results from the fourth quarter of 2014 to the same time period in 2015 to confirm that the content presented, when implemented, would make them more successful in their business. The retailers overall realized a 17% increase overall in sales of Palliser products while the individual productivity of each of the attendees increased on average in excess of 40% during the time period reviewed.
