By using Tyler Wants and Needs Analysis Techniques, it led to a successful investment of $1,130,000.00.

The Tyler Techniques result in sales growth as well as improvements in personal growth. As a veteran of numerous sales seminars and courses, Richards Tyler’s sales course — ’Commitment to Excellence ®’ – is by far the best!

Proper wants and needs analysis resulted in an increased sale of $212,000.00.

An old company VP wished to review a technical proposal before presenting it to the Chairman for approval.  Before launching the review, we asked the VP to clarify the needs and objectives that were expected from the study. Questioning revealed a strong need for a new database product, and desire to expand the geographic extent of the project and real objective to achieve more in-depth analysis. The result from assessing our proposed solution was an expanded proposal in which we added more than $100,000.00 in investments and we got the agreement.

My overall presentations have improved due to increased confidence. I’m sure this is due to skills learned in this sales education program…that translates to the fact that I had an Excellent end of year in sales.

Recently, I was on call discussing a small sale. Through newly learned (Tyler’s) wants and needs analysis skills, the call led to a very large sale ($150,000.00 gross!).

Through commitment to increasing product knowledge, I was able to grow a small opportunity into more products worth four times the initial quote. I would not have gotten the additional business without the class giving me the incentive to look for the other opportunities.

I can say that my sales process has improved greatly due to concentration on Tyler’s Wants & Needs Analysis™. I know far more about almost all my clients…plus, I had a record sales month in September!

I defused an angry customer who was upset that he mailed an agreement a week ago and we had not called him back. By using want and needs questions and asking him specifics about the situation, I defused his anger and he was very happy by the end of our conversation.

On a personal level, I have never been able to establish a very good rapport with my father-in-law. He has been institutionalized in the past and depressed. This man is a ‘yes/no, raised-in-the-depression-era ’pessimist. By using open-ended involvement questions, I was able to implement positive language into my dialogue and we had a fantastic dinner conversation and I learned things about him I had previously been unable to do.Excellent!! Thanks Richard!
